The complete uni packing checklist: don't forget these!

September has quickly come around again and we're all left wondering where the summer went (as usual). It might be your first time at uni (if so, congrats on passing your A Levels!), or you could be going into your second, third or even fourth year but need to repack everything for your newest student home - either way, you'll need to make sure not to forget these university essentials before moving in. That's why we created a complete uni packing checklist for you guys with a bunch of items you won't want to forget!

What to have handy when you arrive

  • Disinfectant wipes to wipe all surfaces

  • Folder with your most important documents

  • Freshly washed bedsheets (you do not want to be wasting time washing new bedsheets the first day you arrive)

  • Small kit with medicine essentials (to avoid falling ill during Freshers)

  • List of your family's emergency contact details to give to your closest flatmates

  • Plasters (you'll be walking loads during Freshers, believe us)

  • Spare mask


Don't stress if you happen to forget any of these - there'll be plenty of shops brimming with back to uni essentials for students just like you.
