WHAT YOU GUYS ARE SAYING...
University of Newcastle - BSc Electrical and Electronics Engineering
I have used it so much this year and my mind just feels clear and my degree feels more achievable than it's ever been - It has definitely motivated me to do better.
"I would rather delete Instagram than UniMate, because it's actually useful"
It makes me feel organised and even maybe more accomplished than I would otherwise feel because a lot of students have imposter syndrome and wanting to do well and I never feel like I hit the mark. So to see I'm on the way to get a 1st, it reassures me, because in my head it doesn't exist
University of Cardiff - BSc International Relations
University of Edinburgh - BSc Neuroscience
Is there a limit to how many grades I can input?
No! UniMate lets you log as many grades as you want. From your first year to your final years - you can continue using UniMate to calculate your weighted grade and log your marks. Happy calculating!
How do I recover my account?
Cannot seem to log into your account? Forgot your password and e-mail? Email us at with the subject line "RECOVER MY ACCOUNT" and we will be in touch. We may require proof of ID or info input into the account in order to retrieve your account for you.
How do I update my own Uni's degree classifications (e.g. what grades count as passing a year)?
Each Uni has it's own way of giving weight to grades. For some a 68% may be a 1st whereas for others it may be a 70%. In order to change your degree classification rules go to the cogwheel on the top right hand side of the screen and click on 'Grade Boundaries'. There you can change your classification settings.
How does the grade calculator feature work?
Our UniMate 'Calculator' feature on the app allows you to compare your weighted average with the grades you hope to achieve. You can input desired grades (even if you haven't received those grades yet) for each module in order to calculate what marks you need to aim for in order to get a 1st or 2:1.
